Fortnite’s Spoooky Bash; Fortnitemares 2024 Item & Rewards Overview

Fortnite’s latest event, Fortnitemares is officially live and it’s been out for about a week or so. We’ve already covered the rumours and leaks leading up to the event with most of what we’ve mentioned appearing in the Fortnite game.

Today, we’re checking out everything that’s been officially released since Fortnitemares went live to make sure you’ve got all the information you need before the event ends culminating with Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 sometime next month.

Let’s get straight into it!

New Fortnitemares Items; Boom Billy, Chainsaw, & Weapons

Probably the best part of the Fortnitemares update are the plentiful new in-game items and Fortnite weapons you can find strewn across the map.

The first most iconic new addition is the Fortnite Boom Billy explosive which functions kind of like a lock-on drone.

When you throw a Boom Billy, it’ll lock on to the nearest enemy and detonate on impact.

It’ll follow the opponent so it’s kind of a ‘cheese’ but still, works well with the theme of the new Fortnite update. You’ll find Boom Billy on the ground or in chests, or by defeating Billy the Puppet in Freaky Fields.

Next up, we have the ‘Chainsaw’ which is our favorite new Fortnite weapon of the bunch. It’s an incredibly menacing melee weapon by itself but has a unique mobility mechanic that allows players to dig it into the ground and ride it at ultrasonic speeds to close the gap with your enemies or make a quick escape.

Of everything we’ve tried so far, we have to say the new Chainsaw riding mechanic is not only uber sick but incredibly terrifying when you hear the chains creeping up toward you.

Lastly, we also have a few Fortnite weapons in the game to devastate your foes including the Wood Stake Shotgun, Pumpkin Launcher, and Witch Broom making it’s return to the Fortnite game.

You can find the Wood Stake Shotgun and Pumpkin Launcher by defeating Ultima Carver who’s prowling around ‘Brawler’s Patch’, a new themed area of Brawler’s Battleground and you’ll find the Witch Broom in chests, on the ground, and on Loot Island.

Fortnitemares Quests & Rewards

With the Fortnite new update, there are a bunch of new Fortnitemares XP Quests that award players with a bunch of new swag to don and collect exclusive Fortnite items to Fortnitemares 2024. Here’s what you can get for completing all 11 Quests for the duration of the event:

●3 Quests Completed Reward – Horde’s War Wheel Back Bling
●4 Quests Completed Reward – Thrills & Chills Loading Screen

●6 Quests Completed Reward – Knight of the Patch Banner Icon
●7 Quests Completed Reward – Jack-o’-Drifter Contrail
●8 Quests Completed Reward – Fiendish Wand Pickaxe
●9 Quests Completed Reward – Cauldron Chill Emote
●10 Quests Completed Reward – Night of the Nitemares Loading Screen
●11 Quests Completed Reward – The Great Scarecrow Glider
